EMA is  delighted to inform you that the SME office at EMA is organizing an SME Info Day on Friday, 18th October 2024 at the European Medicines Agency's premises in Amsterdam.

The SME info day is a training event dedicated to small and medium-sized enterprises in the pharmaceutical sector. It highlights programmes and initiatives and provides updates on regulatory topics related to medicines for human use. This year’s event covers various topics such as EMA scientific advice, clinical trials, medical devices, the new EU HTA regulation, the new EMA fee regulation and medicine shortages.


The “Meet EMA” event will provide an opportunity for in-person participants to engage with EMA staff from different departments to increase awareness of the range of support available at EMA.
The event will be broadcast. No registration is required for participation via online webcast. The videos and presentations will be available on the EMA website after the event.

Registration for participation in person

Participation in person is open only to companies that have been assigned SME status by the EMA and representatives of stakeholder organisations.
If you wish to participate in person, please complete the registration form. There is no registration fee for this event.The deadline for registration is 20th September 2024.
Please note that initially, participation is limited to one representative per registered SME, and additional participants from the same company will be placed on a waiting list. Additional places will be released closer to the workshop date, if available, and distributed amongst participants on the waiting list.
